SLRB’s early achievements were in the development of prime properties and low cost housing. This also gave life to the slogan coined by Mr. Violago himself, “A Home for Every Filipino Family.”
All past housing development of SLRB have rewarded home buyers not only with improvement in their living conditions, but also with a generous gain in the market value of their investments. The following are some of the company’s accomplishments in the field of housing and property development:
In the 1980’s, Mr. Violago was able to outbid major real estate players, such as Ayala Land, to acquire the 7.1 hectare Ysmael property foreclosed by the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) in E. Rodriguez Avenue, Quezon City and develop it into a profitable business venture. This is also where he built the Sto. Nino de Violago Chapel, a quasi-parish which will become a Parish church under the Diocese of Cubao.
LOW COST HOUSING PROJECTS:
Olympia Heights is a 150 hectare prime property offering scenic panoramic views of the Taal Lake and volcano. This project will offer world class residential communities and commercial establishments that define exclusivity, luxury and modern living.
Spearheaded by Anthony Jude Violago together with the JV of the indigenous people, SLRB has a joint venture with one of the indigenous communities to develop 60,000 to 110,000 hectares in Zambales into an economic zone (similar to CEZA) and a renewable energy hub that will host wind and solar power projects. A “New City” with an area of 60k hectares to 110,000 hectares on a joint venture with the indigenous people. This will be developed similar to Singapore’s 74,000 hectares. It will become the country’s model for a greener and cleaner environment. SLRB is also planning to privately acquire another 50,000 hectares nearby to fully develop the area.
